Boat Deliveries
Your boat delivery begins by understanding your objectives. No two deliveries are ever the same. However sometimes what you need is just an analysis of the best way to deliver your boat; whether it’s by sea or land [e.g. a truck]. But let’s talk about the former: the sea route.
You want your boat moved from point A to B. Simple right? But you might not have the time or inclination to do it yourself.
We start by understanding your vessel. What are the capacities? Is it built for offshore, near shore, or inland waters [crew safety is very, very important to us! We want to live a very long time you understand!] Next comes the routing; which way do we go? After that, we start analyzing the weather long before the faithful day of departure. Once all that is done, we need to talk about money. How much is it going to cost going to you?
BSG will provide the following before you commit to our services. We will give you an estimate for basic routing, weather analysis, food, crew, fuel, and dockage. In this fashion, you will have an idea of your costs before you commit to BSG.
We shall inspect the vessel to ensure the journey can be completed safely and effectively. If any deficiencies are noted, we will inform you immediately.
During the delivery we shall make every effort to let you know where we are, how things are going and notify you of any unforeseen delays. WE KEEP IN TOUCH, so you don’t wonder what the heck is going on or think that maybe we’ve headed for the islands!
Once the delivery is completed, we provide a thorough debriefing on what we learned about your boat during the journey. This is usually done in a written format to address observations about your boat. We’d like to stay in touch with you and see how you and your boat are getting along. It’s not just a job for us, its building friendships and relationships.
